2011 The Year to Remember

Year 2011 has come to the end. I can't help to say this again.. TIME FLIES.

I used to summarize what I did throughout the year but last year nothing significant things happen, so I didn't blog about it. But year 2011 is the year to remember. I think I have to do a quick rewind :p

1. I made a life change decision, it took me months to ponder over the pros and cons.. bla bla bla... HOLD ON.. I'm talking about my work okay? Finally I accepted the job offer from Singapore, this thing never come across me before and all these while a lot of people (including my clients) been asking me why I don't work in Sg but my answer is always the same "I DON'T LIKE SINGAPORE". Well, now my answer would be "I hate Singapore BUT I love their currency" make sense? :p

2. Ever since I started to work in Singapore, my life has made a drastic change. Good and bad but I learnt how to let it go and let it be :D *Optimism is the key word to stay happy :)*
If you know me well, I loveee to drink. But now I work with a bunch of alcoholic, I kinda scare to drink especially beer and hard liquor. I'm still prefer wine :)

3. Something I'm very proud of - TRAVEL. Averagely I go travel every quarter. I truly hope to keep this record in the coming years.
First quarter I went to Macau and HK with my girlfriends.
Second quarter I went to Batam with my university friends.
Then follow by..
Jakarta. Last minute purchased the flight ticket and I went there alone :p
Taiwan in July :) Spontaneous itinerary throughout the trip and something awesome happened
Shanghai and HangZhou in October :) Super *heart* the weather but I think I'll never go back agian.. *cough*
Short gateway in December to Japamala Resort at Tioman Island :) *will blog in detail soon*

4. Change my hairstyle from...
This length...
to this.. new fringe + new color
Curly hair :p
Getting messy cause i don't know how to take care.. lol
Decided to chop it short...
and now my current hairstyle, even shorten than before and dyed a new color - ash green :p
I seriously think I hardly to keep my hair long anymore -__-"

5. Things come and go...... as usual wtf
I don't deserve all these shit and always self-remind don't give a damn to those people who take things for granted.

6. Attended a few weddings this year and a lot of friends were ROM..... :)
It seems like a trend nowadays :p My facebook wall flooded with those ROM and wedding photos
I can foresee more to come in year 2012 :)

7. Whatsapp is the greatest creation in the world :D
It makes our life comes closer to each other, don't you agree with me?

8. I met a lot of new friends from workplace, event, drinking session.. LOL. and most of them are truly awesome. Thanks to make my life more colorful.. :)

9. I understand that..
Promise is a big word, it either means something or breaks everything :)

 10. Last but not least :)
The best things in life are unseen, so close your eyes to feel the LOVE

Happy New Year!!!~

Christmas Dinner @ Eight Lido, JB

As usual every year Christmas I'll bring my family go for Christmas dinner to celebrate my youngest sister's birthday :)
This year I decided to go Eight Lido :)
The siblings and I.
I made the earlier reservation and we got seated at the outdoor dining area :)

The Christmas set dinner comes with..
#1. Minced chicken served with sweet and sour berry infused hollandaise sauce.
I personally like this very much but the food portion is small:p
#2. Traditional Spanish cream seafood soup.
When I finished this and before the main course being served, I told my sis, I can't finish the rest of the dishes. VERY FULL... hmmm I think it is needed to take back what I said previously :P It is not small, the portion's just right for the appetizer :p

Main course, a choice of...
#3. Braised lamb shank served with berries sauce and roasted baby potatoes
My dad was happily enjoy his food and giving a very high rate to this :p

OR
#3. Grilled boneless chicken + salmon *wink*

#4. Sliced roasted turkey with baby carrots, brussel sprouts, grilled pineapple and raspberry sauce.
Perfect combination :)
#5. Chocolate and berries compote served with vanilla ice-cream :)
I expected to get a slice of cake or some other desserts that I tried before during the last food tasting but upon this being served, I was little disappointed because it wasn't something I fancy.... I WANT CAKE.. =(( and this was the only dish I cannot finish, a little bit too sweet for me.

From HangZhou to Shanghai

Continue to blog about my China Trip :)
********
Last minute checked the train schedule and hopped into the cab, we reached the train station on time :)
While waiting the train at the gantry.
*cough* I had no idea why but somehow I felt the train station is a bit unsafe -__-"
54 Yuan to get the ticket, I personally think it is pretty cheap, compare with the high speed train I took before in Taiwan.
This lady very hardworking to plan the itinerary with her travel guide book.. lol.. story behind *take note*
and I was playing *Death at Fairing Point* throughout the journey. Oh ya this is the one and only game I purchased from iTune.. :p
We arrived at Shanghai train station after 2 hours..!!~ *the journey supposed to be an hour plus but because the train pit stopped at few different locations*
 We saw this...... Zzz.
We had no choice but carried the heavy luggage out from the underpass!@#$%^&?>
 Checked-in..!!!
I forgot the hotel name -___-" btw I'm not recommended the hotel to tourists, because it is situated quite far away from the city, even thought the price is much cheaper but bare in mind you would spend a lot on taxi fare. Oh ya, I don't think the train system is convenience for tourists too...

 PLEASE LOOK AT THE BOOOOK..!!!
Never ever spend money on this... I'll further elaborate in the coming posts.
Before heading out :)
Next post - 陆家嘴
if I'm not wrong.. wtf. forgot the name again -__-"

Happy Sunday people..!!~ :)
